Find out why your PC actually drops frames
PeakFPS is a Windows desktop app that measures your 1% Low frame stability, identifies which component is the real bottleneck, and restores every setting it touched when you close the game.
Before you download: the application interface is in Korean, and PRO can only be paid for with Korean payment methods. The free diagnostic tier works anywhere. This page exists so English-speaking readers and software directories can understand what the tool does.
What it measures
- Real-time 1% Low and average frame rate
- Bottleneck diagnosis across CPU, GPU, disk, and thermals
- Whether your machine is currently running at its own best state
What it does not do
- No kernel driver
- No code injection into the game process
- No permanent system changes — settings are restored on exit
This matters for anti-cheat. PeakFPS does not attach to or modify the game. It has been used alongside Vanguard, EAC, and BattlEye protected titles.
How it was built
Every feature was measured across more than 400 recorded game sessions. Features that showed no effect — or a negative effect — were removed rather than shipped. The tool is positioned as a diagnostic instrument, not a “booster”: it tells you what is limiting your machine before it changes anything.
Tiers
- LIGHT (free) — measurement and diagnosis. Portable; runs from a folder without installation.
- PRO (one-time) — per-game optimization profiles, core/timer/focus tuning, automatic response to stutter, full restore on exit. One PC, lifetime updates.
